  Or is that a blog-cation? Anyway you look at it, I've definitely been off, both work and blog for the past week. Many apologies to anybody looking for news here, but watcha gonna do? A little break is nice once in a while. As for happenings here, well it's the same as always, very hectic, very fun. Christmas was great, the family and children were festive and we all had a very good, very relaxing time.   Another quasi-sport

  I shouldn't say that too loudly, because one thing is for sure; the guys over at the Official Rock Paper Scissors Site sure seem to take it seriously. They have everything the newbie needs to know about the sport here, including an introduction to strategy and gambits, clearly a crucial part of any RPS education. And yes, apparently it is also called Roshambo, among other things. They had the 2005 World Championships at the Steamwhistle brewery in Toronto recently. And now you know.

  Jordy’s Christmas Short Story

  We certainly didn't get much help from the weather, but we definitely had lots of fun anyway on Friday. Thanks to all those folks that showed up for fun and food. The last tally was around 42 people I believe, very respectable for a snowy day. Lots of thanks to the boys from the band for showing up to play some songs, and for letting me play "G" all night long and pretending that's what I was supposed to play. I put some pictures into Flickr of the night, so they should start showing up on the right. ...
