Generally earbuds will get tugged out of my ears after a couple strides, and it becomes more of a task to listen to music than run. So far the best I've found are the Sony Sport Neckband Earbuds as they are sweat resistant and they don't fall out of my ears when I'm running. But, sometimes I have to clean my headphones off with alcohol swabs otherwise they can get kinda nasty. Also, I too have an armband from Griffin, and it works for me pretty well with my iPhone. I'll bring a pair or two over. Rob doesn't like them, they don't fit my ears (I have yet to find a pair of earbuds small enough), and I can't bring myself to throw them away.
