They Might Be Giants – Here Comes Science

They Might Be Giants (who until now I had never actually heard) released a kids CD called Here Comes Science, and it’s happy, catchy, and scientifically accurate.  Good lord, but this makes me happy.  It will be purchased for my kids by the end of the day.  My geeky heart overflows with joy.  The band website has lots of good stuff, but I stole the links for these videos and they are brilliant, check ’em out.

GO and get it on iTunes or Amazon. Go on. Go ahead, I’ll wait here.

I saw this on Boing Boing first, as usual.

  1. I agree, this ROCKS! The music is catchy, but the videos are a work of art unto themselves. I particularly love the moonwalking dinosaur on his pedestal. Thanks for another completely cool, completely quirky find, bro.

  2. yep, bought it and watched most of it last night with the lads and Nikki. If you buy the album on iTunes you get all of the videos included. It’s brilliant, and the boys loved it. There are some really good bits of information packed into these songs.

  3. Cael also shares the same fav as Court “I Am A Mady-entologist”. (Paleontologist)
    Very cute.

Quinn likes to sing along to ROY G. BIV.
