A 5 meter python ate a family’s pet dog in Australia<\/a> this week.\u00c2\u00a0 Even sadder still, the kids watched it happen.<\/p>\n

But wait, before you feel terrible and sad for those poor kids, there’s more.<\/p>\n

The snake had been stalking the dog for\u00c2\u00a0days before it actually attacked it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0DAYS.\u00c2\u00a0 For some inexplicable reason the family did NOTHING to save their dog in\u00c2\u00a0 days.\u00c2\u00a0 I mean yes, it’s a big snake, but that’s just the point, it’s 5 fricking meters long, how did you miss it?\u00c2\u00a0 Seriously, that’s just crazy.\u00c2\u00a0 How can\u00c2\u00a0you\u00c2\u00a0somehow not notice the huge killer reptile in your yard?<\/p>\n

Douglas said the snake had actively stalked the dog for a number of days, and the family that owned the dog had actually seen it in the dog’s bed, which was a sign it was out to get it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, don’t\u00c2\u00a0move the dog’s bed into the house or anything.\u00c2\u00a0 And would it kill ya to let the dog pee in the front yard?\u00c2\u00a0 Or wherever the huge hungry snake ISN’T?\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hon, did you let Fluffy out for a pee?\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yep.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Did you check to see if the snake was there?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yep.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Was it there?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yep.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh, ok.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s not like the dog had much of a chance, it was a chihuahua for crying out loud.\u00c2\u00a0 What chance does a little dog like that have sleeping outdoors in a place like Australia?\u00c2\u00a0 You think I’m too hard on Australia<\/a>?\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe.\u00c2\u00a0 Useless little dogs like that get eaten by owls and hawks in Canada, but at least you don’t have DAYS to wait for that to happen.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s sort of:<\/p>\n

Ok, go for a pee.\u00c2\u00a0 OOPS, wow look at that.\u00c2\u00a0 That’s a big bird. Yep. He’s gone.<\/strong><\/p>\n
