An article\u00c2\u00a0on Canoe.ca today warns\u00c2\u00a0me to enjoy that cheap beer because prices are going up<\/a> soon.\u00c2\u00a0 I have only one answer to that:\u00c2\u00a0 HUH?\u00c2\u00a0 If the prices I’m paying now are cheap prices, it looks like I will just cut beer right out altogether.\u00c2\u00a0 I like beer.\u00c2\u00a0 I love beer.\u00c2\u00a0 But today’s beer prices are not cheap, not even close.\u00c2\u00a0(cue the old geezer voice)\u00c2\u00a0 I remember when you could buy a case of beer for, uh, well a\u00c2\u00a0lot less than you can today.\u00c2\u00a0 It really is a lot more expensive these days, I don’t understand why.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now keen readers of this blog will already know that beer prices are going to go up because I told you that already this month.\u00c2\u00a0 Or rather, a scientist from New Zealand<\/a> told us that.<\/p>\n

You may start to think that all I think about is beer, but that’s not true I was also thinking about beer and wine<\/a> at the same time a little while ago.\u00c2\u00a0 In any case (that’s a beer pun),\u00c2\u00a0summer is just around the corner, and since those climate folks are predicting a warm one, I suggest we all stock up<\/a> for the warm weather.\u00c2\u00a0 Ah beer, how can I stay mad at you?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
