{"id":2928,"date":"2012-11-14T16:50:07","date_gmt":"2012-11-14T20:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vallentyne.com\/blog\/?p=2928"},"modified":"2012-11-14T16:50:07","modified_gmt":"2012-11-14T20:50:07","slug":"restaurant-review-makes-me-want-to-meet-the-author","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vallentyne.com\/blog\/2012\/11\/14\/restaurant-review-makes-me-want-to-meet-the-author\/","title":{"rendered":"Restaurant Review makes me want to meet the author"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I should preface this by saying that this appears to be a review of a restaurant that bears &#8220;the name of someone who is on TV&#8221;, which as anyone that knows us Television-blind Vallentynes, results in a bemused shrug from me.\u00c2\u00a0 But forget about that for a moment, since you will no doubt know who Guy Fieri is already.\u00c2\u00a0 It seems he opened a new restaurant in Times Square recently and\u00c2\u00a0this gentleman went to sample the fare and write a review for the New York Times.\u00c2\u00a0 What he ended up doing was an exercise in awesomeness, a shining example of snark, sarcasm, and just plain old nasty.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s fantastic, I highly recommend you go and read this, it starts with a bang and just keeps coming.\u00c2\u00a0 Some of my favourites:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hey, did you try that blue drink, the one that glows like nuclear waste? The watermelon margarita?
