{"id":3253,"date":"2014-04-10T13:52:52","date_gmt":"2014-04-10T17:52:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vallentyne.com\/blog\/?p=3253"},"modified":"2014-04-10T13:52:52","modified_gmt":"2014-04-10T17:52:52","slug":"windows-phone-8-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vallentyne.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/10\/windows-phone-8-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Windows Phone 8.1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once upon a\u00c2\u00a0time I was pretty stoked about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vallentyne.com\/blog\/2007\/01\/09\/apple-products-release\/\">another mobile device<\/a>, which now seems so very very boring.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0These days I&#8217;m completely and totally stoked about the Windows Phone 8.1 release.\u00c2\u00a0 I mean really stoked.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been really obsessively checking for the developer release bits the last couple of days, since there was a moment in time where folks thought that might show up today.\u00c2\u00a0 However, it seems that I need to stop hitting update every 30 minutes or so, since this guy know a lot more about the release than I do:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>Yowza, you&#8217;re going nuts 4 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23WP8&amp;src=hash\">#WP8<\/a>.1 dev preview.
