Truth In Advertising

Seldom has a commercial been so very very bang on in nailing that element of truthfulness to a situation, and more or less being honest about how people use their products.

Enter Folgers “Happy Mornings”, which is basically a drug flashback you have after a very busy night. This thing is trippy, to say the least. It makes me laugh because Nik and I have had more of these mornings than either of us can remember. No sleep and young children really make it add up some mornings. Oh, like, say this morning. And yesterday morning. And the one before that.

The kicker is we both quit caffeine a few months ago, but I’ll be damned if I can give up the coffee. Oh well.

Enjoy the show.

  1. I’m speechless. Really. That just nailed our morning life to a tee. I think Quinn and Cael equal about 10 of those yellow guys each.

    Tolerate mornings indeed.

I say this as I laugh a pathetic and tired knowing laugh that Courtney has discovered the one ad that depicts our mornings with frightening accuracy.

  2. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that I just about spit my (decaf) coffee all over the monitor when I saw that guy in the shower.

That is YOU my sweet Courtney. My God, its your doppelganger, the hair, the beard, the defeated stance… I’m still giggling every few seconds over that one.
