Well! Well! Well! It sounds like someone (Nikki?) did blow my news by Cindy’s post. Sorry Courtney for not posting quick enough. I’m just still adjusting to the news myself.

WE’RE HAVING TWINS!

It’s a blessing and wonderful news but as you can all imagine not something I could have EVER imagined. The twins are fraternal so biologically a major miracle – we never knew how fertile we were! Geez. John is adjusting the budget and wondering where we’re going to fit everything and I imagine his 2-door Cavalier will very soon be upgraded a family vehicle. I’m just trying to not get upset about the increased weight gain but whenever I do have a moment like that I think about the 2 people we’ve made and are bringing into the world to love. It’s going to be great!

I am always at work these days so I must sign off but thanks to everyone for their encouraging words and double congratulations!

An interesting article, The Tyranny of Email which goes into how people can be obsessive about email checking and how to use it more effectively. It sort of wanders off on how programming is only possible in three hour blocks of time, but still there are some good points to be made here. Most of which I am guilty of by the way.

You might say that blogging is very near the same, or it is this week.

I’m back.

Now here’s some news. I want to make Andrea POST today. POST today, ok? POST something, you know what, or Nikki and I will blow your surprise.

Now as far as the rink goes, it is simply too monumental a task, I fear that it’s a wash for this year. I’m just too lazy. It will be back next year though, never fear. And then Andrea won’t be needing a belly helmet, she’ll need a …… Dammit!

On the personal growth front; painting sucks, but once you get going it’s never as bad as it seemed. We finished the kitchen trim this weekend. I can hear the stunned silence now. It’s only been that way for a year now. Well almost. Anyway, it’s a whole new colour now, that will make 4 different colours that the trim has sported since the house was built, counting the white primer. Yikes.

It’s now Onionskin Tan for the Marthas out there. And the Smarthas.

It’s brown for the guys.

As far as skating is concerned, we’re in (in theory). This coming weekend we’re busy both Friday and Saturday. The weekend after is Cindy’s birthday……pause for meaningful silence…after that we’re cool. Of course, by then it’ll be sunny with a balmy high of 20….right?

Oh man! Was that offside? I thought a belly-mounted helmet for safe, pregnant ice skating was funny. No? Drunk again, Gibson?
